DipLCM | B.A. (Hons) | CDMP
Hi, I’m Jayne - a patient, friendly, and reliable online piano tutor based in Ellesmere Port, teaching students across the UK at a pace that suits them.

I’ve been playing piano since the age of four and hold Grade 8 Piano and a Diploma of the London College of Music (DipLCM). I’ve been teaching piano for over 20 years, working with beginners through to advanced students of all ages.

Alongside piano, I’m also a qualified singing teacher with Grade 8 Singing (Distinction) from ABRSM, a DipLCM, a B.A. (Hons) from the University of South Wales, and a CDMP Diploma from the Digital Marketing Institute.

As a musician and teacher, I’ve received several awards, including Piano Teacher of the Year with Corporate LiveWire’s Prestige Awards.

All lessons are delivered live online via Zoom or FaceTime, so you can learn from anywhere in the UK using a phone, tablet, laptop or PC.

Music has always been a central part of my life, and I love helping students grow in confidence and ability while enjoying the journey of learning piano.

Multi-Award-Winning Musician
Since 2015, I have been working as a Wedding & Events Singer and performing at weddings, events, hotels, and holiday resorts around the UK. Clients have included Parkdean Resorts Corporate, Future Inns, Village Hotels, Ramada, Chester Racecourse, Cheshire Food & Drink Festival, Royal Cheshire County Show, Barrhead Travel, The Travel House, BBC, ITV, Celtic Manor Resort, and corporate events for Asda and Lidl.

Alongside my teaching, I sing in an award-winning modern country acoustic duo with my husband called Kodiak Avenue.

I love to sing a variety of different musical styles, such as Modern Country, West End/Broadway, Classical, Popular, Swing, and Jazz. I have performed as a soloist in cabaret at various venues throughout the UK and USA, and sung in many concerts and shows, including the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.

During lockdown I started producing collaboration videos with other musicians from around the world, and was featured several times on Absolute Radio Country.

I am well-versed in a variety of musical styles, including classical and contemporary music, and have a proven track record of success in helping students improve their playing skills and build their confidence.
I understand the importance of clear and effective communication, and am able to communicate complex musical concepts in a way that is easy for students to understand.
One of my proudest achievements as a piano teacher is my 100% pass rate for students who have taken piano exams with Trinity College London, both digitally and in person.

In addition to the piano and singing, I enjoy playing guitar, ukulele, mandolin, bass guitar, and cajon.
