I'm Jayne, a patient, supportive, and reliable online piano tutor from Aberdare, who knows how to teach at the pace which is right for you.
I am a trained pianist (Grade 8 Piano), I have been playing piano since I was 5 years old, and working as a piano teacher for over 20 years. I am also a qualified singing teacher, and I have achieved my Grade 8 Singing (Distinction) with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, a Diploma of the London College of Music (DipLCM), a B.A. (Hons) Degree from the University of South Wales, and CDMP (Certified Digital Marketing Professional) Diploma from the Digital Marketing Institute.
Music has been such a big part of my life from a very young age. I have been fortunate to have been brought up in a musical family, and it’s so rewarding to be able to pass on what I’ve learned to my students and watch them progress as musicians.
Since 2015, I have been working as a Wedding Singer and performing at weddings, events, hotels, and holiday resorts around the UK. Past clients include Parkdean Resorts Corporate, Celtic Manor Resort, Brecon Jazz Festival, Swansea Great Hall, Kilworth House Leicester, Peterstone Court, Eastwood Park, University of South Wales, Future Inns, Village Hotels, Ramada, Vale Resort, Brangwyn Hall, Trecco Bay, and Morgans Hotel Swansea.
I love to sing a variety of different musical styles, such as Modern Country, West End/Broadway, Classical, Popular, Swing, and Jazz. I have performed as a soloist in cabaret at various venues throughout the UK and USA, and sung in many concerts and shows, including the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
During lockdown I started producing collaboration videos with other musicians from around the world, and was featured several times on Absolute Radio Country.
"An enthusiastic teacher and who inspires her students. She is very positive and supportive. My daughter has gone from strength to strength since attending lessons and has achieved a Distinction in her piano exam."
